SPEAKER: LISA RENNERSTADT
A model media figure, Lisa Rennerstedt plays an integral part in
contemporary broadcasting in Sweden.
She holds a degree from the Stockholm Institute of Education and
was an intermediate-level teacher between 1975-1980. In 1981 she studied
English at the University of Sussex, in England, and then continued
with her studies at the School of Journalism in Stockholm, Sweden,
between 1982 and 1983.
As a newscaster, she worked for the TV news programme, Aktuellt,
between 1983 and 1991 and for the public service programme Studio
S, where she hosted the entertainment programme Nöje.
Her versatility led her to devising and producing cookery programmes
for TV4 with well-known guests, such as the famous master chef, Tore
Wretman. Subsequently, she co-worked as an editor with Robert Aschberg.
She has also been the Editor in Chief and Producer for ZTV.
When working for the Swedish TV production company Wigelius TV,
Lisa had full production and editorial responsibility for a documentary
on the well-known Swedish writer and journalist, Maj Fant. She has
also produced the programme Live for TV3.
Between 1993 and 1998 she hosted TV Stockholm, where she also played
an integral part as editor and editorial support. She has had full
responsibility for the outline, production, editing and budget of
a music video for the famous R&B artist Kayo.
Presently, Lisa is the Project Leader for the launch of a digital
TV channel for the broadcasting company TT. This summer, she conducts
four face to face interview programmes for TV4.
It is her innovative way of thinking and her ability to foresee
possible trends in society, which make her an excellent moderator.
In debating programmes Lisa shows her capacity to constantly recognise
and question her surroundings. Her dedication and enthusiasm combined
with her astute mind energises all her debates. She is a born facilitator
and presenter, caring genuinely for the role of programme presenter.
She involves herself with zeal in all preparatory work, such as research,
screening, interviews and the pedagogy itself.
