MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER: CATHY O'DOWD
Cathy O'Dowd is the first woman ever to climb Mt Everest from both the
south and north sides.
Cathy shares with her audiences the principles of leadership, teamwork
and motivation that twice took her to the summit of the world's highest
mountain. Reach for the heights!
Team dynamics and leadership on the slopes of the world's highest mountain.
Discover three hidden obstacles and six hidden challenges that undermine
effective teamwork. Discover six key tools to motivate yourself and
others in the face of the world's biggest obstacles.
Cathy's presentations combine adventure, drama, failure and success,
sharing with you lessons learnt from one of the world's most spectacular
challenges: Everest. She weaves together the literal adventure of the

sharing her stories of challenge, adventure, passion for life and the
reality of death.
Her inspirational keynotes focus on self-motivation, team dynamics,
risk-assessment and tackling seemingly overwhelming challenges one step
at a time. All presentations are illustrated with spectacular photographs
and are available as 50 minute keynotes or three hour seminars.
Cathy has been speaking professionally for eight years, presenting to
corporations in 22 countries on 5 continents. She is the author of two
books, including Just for the love of it, the dramatic account of her
first three Everest expeditions. She continues to be an active adventurer,
with some of the world's highest peaks in her sights.
