SPEAKER: TANYA BECKETT

Tanya Beckett is seen every day by millions of viewers on BBC Business Breakfast.

She presents and reports on this hour long programme of business news every weekday.

Tanya was previously presenter of Business News on Sky - an hourly update of the national and international business news and market prices.

She was also a presenter of News Direct (London News Radio), a 24 hour news and current affairs station that includes business, finance, sport, traffic, travel and weather updates.

Previous experience includes co-presenter of VIP on NBC Europe and presenter of The Moneywheel and Squawkbox - both daily live programmes broadcast on NBC and CNBC, focusing on international politics, business and market news.

She also presented numerous business and current affair programmes for Financial Times Television.

From 1992-1993 Tanya worked at Commerzbank in Frankfurt and for three years prior to that worked for Citibank in London. She was educated at Oxford University.
