Vincent Everts is currently Venture Capitalist at www.insightpartners.com the $400M European fund and www.versatel.nl he is member of the advisory board of Nesbic, www.mainbrace.com (a design house of E-books and handhelds in Sunnyvale), www.gopher.org, a one2one printer, and www.zonnet.nl (a ISP with 500k users).

He is advisor and speaker at www.mediaplaza.nl, ambassador of www.thinkquest.nl (the WEB competition of highschool students) and member of the board of www.isoc.nl (the Internet society)

From 1996-1999, Vincent Everts was president of Media Plaza. Media Plaza is the demonstration centre for the "electronic highway". Vincent Everts has initiated the development of two political plans that solve problems in society using the electronic highway. The Gridlock plan, which tries to decrease the amount of gridlock's by flexible working. The Internet University, to solve the lack of Internet specialists by virtual training programmes.

Between 1994 and 1996 Vincent studied at the Business School of Rotterdam. Thesis consisted of research into implementing SAP by consultants. He developed a computer based model for www.origin.com which estimates the amount of time it takes to implement SAP in a company based on the complexity, the amount of business procedures implemented.

In 1988 Vincent founded Cyco Software in Atlanta, and served as president from 1988-1994. Cyco, a software company of 120 people, specialises in data and document management systems, with offices in Holland, Russia and the US. During those years the company sold more then 150.000 copies of the software Automanager (3rd party software for Autocad) around the world. Vincent started his career as Commercial Director and co-founder of Cyco Automation in 1984 (50 people).

Vincent studied political science, economics and tried to finish an MBA between 1978 and 1984...but failed to get those last bits of work done!
